Founded in 2003, One Point One is a close-knit team who bring a wide range of skills and experience. We are highly responsive, and adept at delivering on our clients’ rapidly evolving needs. Equally, our depth of expertise means we have a proven ability to undertake major projects.
We’ve grown every year through client loyalty and positive referrals, and it’s always our aim to be the best partner our clients work with. It’s an ambitious benchmark, but we’ll aim for it by ploughing our efforts in three directions:
We’ve grown every year through client loyalty and positive referrals, and it’s always our aim to be the best partner our clients work with. It’s an ambitious benchmark, but we’ll aim for it by ploughing our efforts in three directions:
The Extra Mile: ’The extra mile’ is a lonely stretch of road, and we don’t kid ourselves we’re alone on this road, but we always strive to exceed expectations. Indeed our company name change, from ID Development, resulted from our conversations around “How can we make this 11 out of 10?” It hit us one day that 11/10 as a fraction equalled 1.1, and we all felt that ambition was so central to what we’re about that our name should reflect it - so, there you are, that’s the One Point One story. Expertise in Depth: We are passionate about developing great teams and high impact leaders, and we work hard to ensure we bring specialist and current expertise. We research in depth and breadth, working alongside some of the world’s leading organisations to ensure we’re at the leading edge of our field. We also know the value of attention to detail, so we also make sure the ‘t’s are crossed, and the ‘i’s are dotted.
Shoulder-to-Shoulder: We love this phrase because great relationships underpin all successes in life, and we like to bring our true selves to the table. We’re real people, not ‘corporate suits’, so we bring a slice of humour & humanity to the demanding workplace. |
Meet Our Team
Keith Bleasdale
Following 18 years in corporate life, involving various senior commercial roles and heading Training & Leadership Development functions within two major organisations, I founded One Point One in 2003. This business & development experience, together with an MA in Leadership Studies, allows me to connect well with those looking to develop their leadership skills.
My focus is delivering genuine excellence across a wide spectrum of leadership development initiatives, notably 1:1 Coaching relationships, Training interventions, and Seminar presentations. Leaders have an enormous impact on performance and people, and it’s essential to support them in being the best they can be. A quote I often recall is St Augustine’s “I learned not from those who taught me, but from those who talked with me.” It’s just so true in my experience, and it reflects the respect, curiosity and patience that sit at the heart of the coaching mentality. That’s why open discussion features in all our development programmes. “It’s good to talk!” |

As a qualified Football Association referee, I could probably say that my career could be summarised as a “game of two halves”. Early years developing my skills in customer relationship roles, whilst over the last 20 years, I have nurtured a passion for Organisational and People development, leading L&D teams to award winning success and working with a range of PLC clients, both in the UK and overseas.
My key areas of focus are; leadership development, talent identification, graduate development, board level facilitation, developing high performing teams, individual effectiveness and behavioural change. As an accredited coach, I have also supported individuals and teams in achieving their goals, with particular experience working with senior leaders and executive teams. I am proud that feedback from clients has mentioned the words “inspirational” and “life changing”. My favourite quote comes from John Quincy Adams - “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader”. |

Being a coach, facilitator and consultant for over 20 years and having
an MA in Strategic HR means I can offer practical and thoughtful
insights to help leaders improve their relationships and performance. I
have run programmes globally for corporates and business schools, and
also frequently work with senior leaders at board, CEO and MD level to
help them get the best from their teams.
My coaching work includes improving performance, transitions, leadership style & impact, personal effectiveness, relationships with teams, and collaboration. Having worked across the world, alongside sailing team Olympic coaches to project leaders in the slums of India, I enjoy the cultural variety of my work, seeing how leaders flex their style to create the right impact. I am an optimist, and am most interested in how leaders show courage, trust and authenticity. My favourite quote comes from Nelson Mandela: ‘’Man’s goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never extinguished’’. |
Heather Rayfield
I have held senior Consultation and L&D positions in the retail and finance sectors, leading design, facilitation, coaching on transformational development programmes centred on Leadership, Culture change and Performance Coaching at several major global companies.
As a clinical Reflexologist, I use an holistic approach to personal development, with a clear focus on both physical and mental health. Both professionally and personally, sustained growth comes when mind and body are in balance. I have extensive experience working with good mental health and wellbeing, supporting mental toughness, resilience, growth mindset, peak mental performance and leading in uncertain times. Working with business leaders, I help create environments built on compassion and empathy, essential for long-term individual and organisational success. As a Corporate Mental Health and Wellbeing specialists (certified by WeFocus), my knowledge, experience and fresh insights help proactively support organisations and their people during and post the Covid-19 pandemic. Without holding up the mirror and challenging ourselves to develop new ways of thinking and being, we miss opportunities to grow - "Change your thoughts and you change your world" Norman Vincent Peale, is a great quote that describes the journey to good mental health and wellbeing. |

Bringing over twenty years of professionalism in the outdoors and management training, I bring a whole gamut of knowledge beyond innovative activities, providing people with a positive learning experience.
I enjoy creating a dynamic and unique experience where delegates drive the process, encouraging self-reflection. Making observations and insights on how individuals react and interact, generates awareness. Using this understanding, combined with a ‘tool box’ of techniques enables us to get the best from ourselves and those we work with. My favourite quote comes from Yoda: “Do, or do not. There is no try”, as it reflects the impact of belief and attitude on success. I always ask myself when designing or delivering: “So what?, how will this add value?” If this cannot be answered then I adapt, change, or start again. Einstein said, “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” An experience may last from thirty minutes to a week, the impact should last a lifetime. |
Jean Marc Rommes
Over the past 25 years, I have built a reputation as a catalyst for organizational change and professional development, helping managers and teams design viable long-term business strategies, develop customer experience, EHS culture, communication skills and processes.
As a facilitator, I focus on the implementation of change and development initiatives at world leading companies in many industries. As a coach, I act as a sounding board for executives and independents alike, using my international background, multicultural experience and broad language skills to add value. I strive to form long-term relationships with clients and to make every conversation valuable to them by applying the core skills: listening, asking probing questions and offering different perspectives; ultimately raising the game through open discussions. My favourite quote is “If you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right.” Henry Ford. |
Jon Baber
It is with great sadness that our wonderful colleague Jon passed away on 23rd Dec 2020, after a long illness. Everything about his battle typified Jon, he stayed ever-positive; he made the most of every day; he remained interested in so many things; he never gave up; he kept wanting to work and contribute; and he always wore his trademark smile. Jon brought so much to our worlds and he’ll always remain one of our colleagues!

Having worked in the people development arena for over 20 years, with experience leading local and national teams, I have designed and delivered transformational people programmes across a range of sectors both in the UK and overseas. My key area of focus is in behavioural change, particularly in the context of leadership development, career development, high performance teams and personal effectiveness.
As an accredited coach, I have worked with leaders at all levels within organisations, transforming their performance and personal impact. I aim to help people recognise the impact that beliefs and mindset have on performance outcomes, supporting and challenging them to increase individual and organisational effectiveness. A favourite quote of mine is “human beings are never the finished article” as I believe that every day and every situation presents us with an opportunity to learn and grow. Helping leaders to be the best they can be positively impacts on their people and business performance. |
Peter Brown
Having spent many years in financial services and discovering that just about the only thing that made a difference was the people, I immersed myself in the world of people development and have now spent more than 15 years travelling the world, delivering training for a wide range of organisations, in a whole range of cultures.
My focus is on leadership development, negotiation and communication; this involves running programmes that are interesting, involving and, hopefully fun! My favourite quote is from somebody called ‘anonymous’ and states that “He/she who is good with a hammer, thinks everything is a nail.” |
Richard Giles
I have over 20 years experience in the design and delivery of Leadership programmes worldwide, across a range of sectors including Aviation, Banking, Brewing, Construction, Hospitality, Oil and Gas.
Having been a leader myself for many years I recognize the issues and challenges new and existing leaders face and strive to deliver robust and practical solutions which can be easily implemented and embedded back at work. I am also a highly effective coach, enabling clients to develop their leadership capabilities, and I use a variety of approaches and techniques to help individuals build confidence and achieve their goals. My favourite quote has to be “I’ve learned so much from my mistakes – I’m thinking of making a few more” as to me it sums up a typical leadership journey – you won’t always get it right – but learn and adapt and it’s not been wasted. |
Ben Bleasdale
With a background in Marketing & Business Development in medical manufacturing and a degree in Business Management, I joined One Point One to support our client relationships and how we present ourselves to everybody we work with. I always aim to deliver beyond expectations, which is central to how we work, and as such my role at the front-end of operations involves ensuring that every project we take on is handled with genuine care and attention.
As a keen drummer, my favourite quote is from Dave Grohl, which (when censored!) translates to “Buy an old drum set, get in the garage and just be terrible. Get your friends to come in and they’ll be terrible too. And then you’ll start playing and you’ll have the best time you ever had and all of a sudden you’ll become Nirvana.” It says everything about the impact of passion, dedication and practice. |
Martin Gadd
Since graduating my sports and leisure management degree I moved into a career in web content editing, specialising in graphics, coding and copy writing among other things; designing complete websites in the process. I joined One Point One not only to create a new site and web presence but to help align the brand with the quality service for which they’re known. Digital media is changing the way we live our lives and the way we do business. I hope that we can use this to connect in a more meaningful way with both clients and staff members alike.
One of my favourite quotes is 'Life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it.' - Lou Holtz. For me It’s a powerful reminder that everyone will face challenges in life, the important thing is how we overcome them. |
Nicola Debney
I have done what I love for over 25 years. After completing a Bsc in Sociology from The London School of Economics, I started my career in retail management, then moved into Learning and development through to exec level. I’ve had the opportunity to grow and develop alongside some amazing people that I’ve helped to flourish in their careers.
With a strong track record and passion for supporting change and improvements in teams, individuals and business’, I use my energy to inspire togetherness in delivering great results and achieving potential. I help others find their inner strength and give them practical approaches to be brilliant across a range of activities, as well as finding creative solutions to continuous learning. I am always seeking new experiences and enjoy supporting others to explore. Much of my career has been spent working in-house in fast paced retail and commercial businesses and as a consultant where I have supported a broad range of organisations across different sectors. My hands on experience of leading small and large teams, enables me to bring practical and realistic support in my role as a facilitator and coach. I believe everyone can be great at what they do and can achieve if they can find their inner confidence, so one of my favourite quotes has to be from Michelle Obama ‘Your story is what you have, what you will always have. It is something to own’. |
Kevin Major
For the past 20 years I’ve really enjoyed developing and enhancing my skills and knowledge of leadership development. Its enabled me to have worked with some truly amazing individuals, teams and organisations helping them enhance their people and reach their goals.
As a qualified Executive Coach, it’s been great to have so many opportunities to create conversations and connections that have inspired, energised and developed (clients words not mine) people from so many different walks of life. I feel very privileged to do what I do. It gives me the opportunity to “live” a great quote that I love from Bob Nelson “You get the best effort from others not by lighting a fire beneath them, but by building a fire within.” |
Kate Gibbs
Having had an extensive career in all aspects of Leadership, Customer Experience, Change Management and HR, I find I can readily empathise with many of the challenges facing clients when partnering and coaching. I worked at an executive level within financial services for over 10 years and undertook international secondments to South Africa and France, so can appreciate the added complexity of working cross-culturally.
I facilitate and coach on a wide range of learning and development topics including Leadership, Customer Experience, Change Management, Coaching, Sales, Negotiation, Influencing, Stakeholder Management, Communication and Presentation Skills. I am passionate about the challenge of motivating individuals to achieve their potential and to embrace both personal and professional change. We have all heard the saying “you miss 100% of the shots you never take” and I thrive on supporting others to take that leap of faith and believe in themselves. |
